Armed robbers net Coach bag
NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Four adults and three children were terrorized in a home invasion, city police said.
Three people, one woman and two men, entered a home on Raymond Street and demanded money, police said.
The robbery happened Monday evening as the children, ages 12, 11 and nine, were on the front porch.
The robbers entered the home and ordered other victims onto the floor, police said. Meanwhile, the children ran to a local business and called 9-1-1, the report said.
The two men had handguns, police said. They encountered two more victims on the back porch and ordered them to the ground, the report says.
They went back into the house and left through the front door, taking with them only a brown Coach bag, the report says.
Police are still investigating.
