Weizer-Granger nuptials planned in Columbus

• YOUNGSTOWN — Mrs. Hugh B. Fagan, Midlothian Boulevard., announces the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Bridget Kate Weizer, to Richard Peter Granger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Granger of Twinsburg.

Ms. Weizer is also the daughter of Timothy J. Weizer, of Chicago, and stepdaughter of the late Mr. Fagan and of the late Lorayne Weizer.

The couple, who reside in Columbus, will exchange vows Aug. 23 at a 7 p.m. ceremony at the Worthington Inn, Columbus, where a reception will follow.

Ms. Weizer attended St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind., and Ohio State University, and she will receive a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business administration from Franklin University in January. She is a lead media consultant at Mills James Productions.

Mr. Granger is a graduate of OSU, where he obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and a master’s in business administration. He is a principal research scientist for Battelle Memorial Institute.
