Obama speech under way at Fitch
AUSTINTOWN — U.S. Sen. Barack Obama has arrived at Austintown Fitch High School and is delivering a speech in which he has said he will outline his energy proposal, which includes eliminating the need for oil from the Middle East and Venezuela in a decade.
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee began his “New Energy for America” tour Monday in Lansing, Mich., and brings it to the Mahoning Valley today.
About 2,000 people are at the meeting in the school’s gymnasium.
