HERMITAGE, Pa. — Austintown resident Kathy May, general manager of the Red Lobster in Hermitage, has been presented with Darden Restaurants’ top honor — the Diamond Club Award. The award is presented annually to general managers who demonstrate outstanding results, ensure enjoyment of fresh seafood and achieve top financial performance in the previous fiscal year. This year, 33 general managers received the honor from among 680 Red Lobster restaurants in North America.

SEBRING — The Sudoku Cube, sold by American Classic Toy of Sebring, has received a Toy of the Year Award from Creative Child Magazine. It was honored in the travel puzzle-sudoku category. The awards will appear in the magazine in November.
