Gunshots investigated
LIBERTY — Police are trying to determine who is responsible for firing two shots into the air while chasing two juveniles just before midnight Saturday.
Officers went to the Biscayne Drive area to investigate a report of gunshots being fired. The boys, one 15-year-old from the township and a 15-year-old from Niles, at first told police nothing happened but soon changed the story.
According to police reports, the two juveniles said they had been walking from a friend’s house on the North Side of Youngstown when a car started following them. The boys, reports say, told officers they ran and someone got out of the car and fired two shots into the air.
