You can be a batboy, batgirl for Kelly Pavlik

The first-ever Kelly Pavlik Celebrity Softball Slam on Aug. 9 is in need of a little extra help.

The jobs of batboy and batgirl will be offered to area children who are 8 to 12 years of age.

Team Pavlik is taking on Team Media Aug. 9 at Cene Park in Struthers. The event aims to raise money for the United Way.

To become eligible to be a batboy or batgirl, please write a 100-word essay on what you like about Kelly Pavlik. We will do a random drawing from the entries to determine who will get the handful of jobs that will be available.
