ARTS AND CRAFTS SHOWS

• London House Center for Fine Arts, 202 S. State St., Girard, is seeking arts and crafts vendors to participate in a fall art show on Oct. 11 and 12. Table rentals are available for $25 per day. Call (330) 502-1770 to reserve a table.

• Sharon Elks Lodge 103 will have its 4th Annual Holiday Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 8 and is looking for vendors. The cost is $10 per table. • Boardman Spartan MarchingBand is havingits annual car wash Saturday at various sites along Route 244 in Boardman to raise money for band uniforms. Times and places are as follows: A&W at West Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Chic-Fil-A in front of K-Mart from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Arby’s next to St. Charles Church from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Golf Headquarters in front of Creekside Fitness from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Tesone's Boot and Shoe across from the Boardman Plaza from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Steak-N-Shake at Applewood Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SALES

• Friends of the East Palestine Library will sponsor a book sale and silent auction Thursday through Saturday at Memorial Public Library, 309 North Market St. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

• Friends of Rodman Public Library, 215 E. Broadway St., Alliance, will have a used book sale for members from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and for the public from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 11 and 12 and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 13 with a $1-a-bag sale for the final two hours. • Nevels Temple Church of God in Christ, 939 Elm St., across from Wick Park, Youngstown, is having a trash and treasure sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. • St. Joseph Church, 1346 Vernon N.W., Warren, will have a Treasure's Galore sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Books, china, furniture, records and deals galore will be available. Admission is free.

• St. William Church, 5411 Mahoning Ave N.W., Champion, will have a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, which is dollar bag day. Small household items, clothes, toys, books, shoes, holiday items, purses, jewelry and knickknacks as well as refreshments will be for sale.

• Women’s Ministry of Covenant Life Fellowship, 5900 W. Liberty St., Hubbard, will have a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday indoors.

• Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road, Cornersburg, will be the setting for a trash and treasure sale from the trunk of your car from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
