• BOARDMAN — St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park was the setting at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 29 for the wedding of Terri L. Weese of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Stephen L. Cameron of Canberra, Australia.
A reception followed at the Davis Center in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown.
The bride is a daughter of Terry and Mary Weese of North Lima, and the groom is a son of Glenice Cameron of Brisbane, Australia, and the late Allan Cameron.
The bride’s strapless ivory and champagne gown featured a vintage lace bodice and silk skirt.
A black gown was worn by the honor attendant, Julie Cameron, and ivory and champagne gowns were worn by the junior attendants, Abigail and Grace Weese.
Best man was William Scott Weese.
After a honeymoon in South Africa, the couple live in Australia.
The bride was an assistant professor of biology at Grand Valley State University. She earned a bachelor’s degree at Grove City College, a master’s at North Carolina State University and a doctorate at Brigham Young University. She also conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Utah.
The groom holds an undergraduate degree, honors thesis and doctorate from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, and pursued postdoctoral research at Brigham Young University. He is a senior research scientist at the Australian National Insect Collection.
