Five school districts in the Mahoning Valley will ask voters to approve tax issues on Tuesday’s special election ballot.

Jackson-Milton: A 5.5-mill, five-year renewal levy for emergency expenses to raise $988,485 annually.

Springfield: A 4.6-mill, 28-year bond issue to raise $10,657,543 for the local share of constructing a school for those in kindergarten through grade six and a second building for those in grades seven to 12; a 0.5-mill, 23-year additional levy to maintain the two buildings to raise $69,341 annually; and a 2-mill, 28-year bond issue to raise $4,602,457 to renovate, remodel, furnish and improve school buildings and facilities.

Lordstown: A 4-mill, five-year additional levy for general permanent improvements to raise $422,663 annually.

Southington: A 1-mill, five-year additional levy for equipping and improving buildings and sites and for current expenses to raise $63,703 annually.

Southington: A 3.15-mill, three-year renewal levy for emergency expenses to raise $200,133 annually.

Leetonia: A 7-mill, five-year additional levy for emergency expenses to raise $465,000 annually.
