EMILY BECK/MIKE CUCCARESE


• COLUMBUS — Emily Beck and Mike Cuccarese exchanged wedding vows in an 11 a.m. ceremony June 22 at Browning Amphitheater on campus at Ohio State University.

The Rev. Greg O’Dell officiated over the ceremony, and a reception followed at The Brookshire.

The bride is the daughter of Darrell and Sheila Beck of Columbus, and the groom’s parents are George and Beth Basista and Frank Cuccarese, all of Boardman.

The bride carried a bouquet of orange roses and wore a floor-length white chiffon gown.

Wearing blue floral dresses were the maid of honor, Courtney Beck, who is the bride’s sister, and bridesmaids Alice Liu, Rachel Szczepinski, Jenny Wang and Ali Herman. Another attendant was Clay Beck, brother of the bride.

Performing the duties of best man was Tim Rice, and groomsmen were Jim Hyland, Dave Albani, Brett Roberts, Adam Depp and Graig Graziosi.

Mrs. Cuccarese graduated from OSU with a dual bachelor’s degree in social work and Spanish.

Mr. Cuccarese, also an OSU graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry.

They have returned from a wedding trip to Colorado and Arizona and plan to move to Morgantown, W.Va., where the groom will work as a teacher’s assistant while pursuing a doctorate in organic chemistry at West Virginia University. The bride will pursue a career in social work.
