• YOUNGSTOWN — The wedding of Brynn Leigh Proffit, 7582 Olive St., Masury, and Eric J. Boyce, 1249 Bedford Road, Masury, took place May 24 at St. Patrick Church, where the Rev. John Vrabel officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.

After a reception at Willow Creek in Girard, the daughter of Alice Proffit, 160 Maywood Drive, and Gene and Darlene Proffit, 918 Pearson Circle, Boardman, and son of Dick and Wanda Boyce, also of 1249 Bedford Road, Masury, left for a honeymoon at St. Petersburg and Disney World in Florida.

The bride, who was escorted by her brother, Chip Proffit, wore an off-the-shoulder gown embellished with pearls and crystals.

Erika Proffit was the honor attendant for her sister, and bridesmaids were Jennifer and Ashley DeBeaulieu and the groom’s sisters, Michele Sharpe and Karen Jones. Junior bridesmaids were Aleisha and Corrine Sharpe, and flower girl was Alexis Petrich, all nieces of the groom. The attendants wore olive green gowns.

Mark Hughes performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Shane Myers, Tad Jablonski and the groom’s brothers-in-law, Jeff Sharpe and Todd Jones. Ring bearers were Ryan Gordon, the bride’s nephew, and Carsen Sharpe, a nephew of the groom.

Mrs. Boyce is a service coordinator with Dorrance Supply Co. of Youngstown, and Mr. Boyce is employed in receiving at Lowe's Home Improvement in Niles. He graduated from ITT Technical Institute in Youngstown.
