Augustine on piano for dinner patrons
CANFIELD – Jazz pianist Joe Augustine will perform dinner music beginning at 7:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday at Harry Jean’s restaurant on Ironwood Boulevard. Augustine will also perform every other Thursday evening, beginning Aug. 14.
“We’re proud to have a musician of Joe Augustine’s caliber performing at our restaurant,” said Ralph Meranto, owner and proprietor of Harry Jean’s. Augustine performs on a grand piano, accompanied by a bass, at the restaurant.
Harry Jean’s was developed by Meranto, who based it on memories of family meals and special occasions. The restaurant borrows traditions, decor and its name from Meranto’s Dutch and Scotch-Irish grandparents, whose farm was located just near Canfield. It offers home-style meals with an upscale flair.
