Mateja-Zavoral wedding date to be Sept. 20

X NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Tom and Elaine Mateja, 3225 Meadow Lane, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Marie Mateja, 147 Grant Ave., Bellevue, Pa., and Ernest Jeffrey Zavoral Jr., a son of Ernie and Kim Zavoral, all of 5375 Mission Hills Drive, Canfield.

Sept. 20 has been chosen by the couple for their 2 p.m. wedding at St. Michael Church, Canfield. Invitations will be extended for their reception at Tippecanoe Country Club, also in Canfield.

Miss Mateja graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree and earned a doctor of dental medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where she is serving a postgraduate residency. She is also pursuing a master’s degree in public health at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health.

Mr. Zavoral, a market-research specialist with Brand New Era in Canfield, graduated from Ohio University at Athens with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
