COLUMBIANA COUNTY |Indictments

A Columbiana County grand jury recently indicted these people:

William A. Merritt, 40, of Ohio Avenue, East Liverpool, attempted murder and aggravated robbery. He is accused of stabbing a woman in the chest, hitting her and cutting her on the head. Authorities described Merritt as a former acquaintance of the woman’s. The attacked occurred July 8.

Todd Bennett, 30, of Strader Road, East Liverpool, receiving stolen property and forgery.

Nathaniel Hodge, 30, of Elm Street, Columbiana, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, possession of cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin and being a convicted felon illegally having a weapon.

Carol A. Wright, 42, of Eighth Avenue, East Liverpool, failure to register her residence with authorities.

Andrew P. Sarna III, 49, of Seigler Road, Salineville, breaking and entering.

Randy Savors, 30, no address given, failure to verify his residence with authorities.

Robert J. McLaughlin, 48, of Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, failure to verify his residence with authorities.

Scott McKinnon, 46, of Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool, breaking and entering.

David A. Shaw, 43, of Steubenvile Pike Road, Lisbon, operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
