CANFIELD

July 25

Domestic violence: A 37-year-old Canfield man was charged after his girlfriend, of Fairground Boulevard, alleged the man grabbed her hair and neck, and pushed her into a couch during an argument.

Theft: Someone stole six to eight car and truck engines from a fenced-in area at Mahoning County Career Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

July 26

Drug paraphernalia: A 50-year-old Canfield man picked up at a motel on a warrant also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia when, police said, two suspected marijuana pipes were found.

Theft: A Greenmont Avenue man reported the theft of a bicycle.

Damage: A vehicle and trailer sustained damage at a West Main Street business after someone had entered both.

AUSTINTOWN

July 27

Criminal damaging: Someone shot a BB pellet, damaging a window screen at a home in the 100 block of Dehoff Drive.

Theft: A laptop computer and cell phone were stolen from a home in the 5300 block of North Beacon Drive.

Theft: A radiator was removed from a vehicle in the 70 block of Omalis Drive.

Identity theft: Officers arrested a man accused of using his brother’s identity in June at a Mahoning Avenue store.

Assault: A 26-year-old woman reported having been assaulted at a South Raccoon Road business.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox in the 600 block of South Raccoon Road sustained damage.

Theft: Police picked up a man at a business near Seventy-Six Drive who was wanted on a warrant.

Drug paraphernalia: A woman who was pulled over near Woodleigh Lane was given a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 28

Auto theft: A car was stolen in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A lawn decoration was taken from a yard in the 40 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Thefts: Items were stolen from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Someone removed from a vehicle in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road an AM/FM/compact-disc player.

Theft: Coins were missing from a residence in the 100 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A resident in the 200 block of North Beverly Avenue discovered golf clubs missing from his vehicle.

Auto theft: A 1988 Chevrolet Celebrity was stolen in the 4800 block of Westchester Drive.

Domestic violence: Police used a Taser before arresting a man after responding to a situation in the 1000 block of Compass West Drive.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen in the 2400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Drugs: Authorities issued a summons to a man during a traffic stop near Kirk and South Meridian roads charging him with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was cited on a charge of operating a vehicle impaired.

July 29

Burglary: Three men were suspected in the burglary of a North Main Street home in which clothing and CDs were taken.

Theft: Ohio Lottery tickets were stolen from a Shell True North gas station, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: Power equipment and tools were stolen after a break-in to a residence in the 2400 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 4500 block of Deer Creek Court via an unlocked door and removed 90 DVDs.

July 30

Theft: A worker for Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave., reported a wallet stolen from a locker.

Burglary: Undetermined property was stolen after someone broke into a home on South Navarre Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A sliding-glass door to a residence in the 3800 block of Elmwood Avenue was damaged.
