Hendrix sex tape?

Hendrix sex tape?

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment is releasing a sex tape reportedly starring Jimi Hendrix.

The Los Angeles-based adult entertainment company said they obtained the footage of the music legend shot in a hotel room about 40 years ago from a memorabilia collector.

The footage features Hendrix engaging in various sexual acts with two women, according to a statement released by Vivid. The company said they consulted with several experts to authenticate the footage.

Hendrix died of a drug overdose in 1970. Seattle-based representatives for Hendrix’s estate did not want to comment about the tape.

Vivid Entertainment was also responsible for the release of celebrity sex tapes starring Kim Kardahsian and Pamela Anderson.

Indian war chief drama won’t be presented

XENIA, Ohio — An outdoor historical drama about a war chief who led the Shawnee Indians won’t be presented in this southwest Ohio city this summer for the first time in 26 years.

First Frontier Inc., the producer of “Blue Jacket,” plans to try to raise money to retire debts and come up with a new script.

Blue Jacket was a war chief who led the Shawnee Indians in the 1790s against Army forces that were trying to crush Indian resistance in what is now Ohio.

Producers want to come up with a new script for Blue Jacket to reflect recent DNA evidence that strongly suggests he was an American Indian, not a white man captured and adopted by the Shawnees as the play by W.L. Mundell depicts, said Tim Haney, vice president of the First Frontier board of trustees.

“We do not want to risk going into further debt,” Haney said. “We’re just trying to revitalize and refresh First Frontier.”

He said First Frontier intends to perform “Blue Jacket” again in 2009.
