Thunder to honor military, Defend Youngstown

The Mahoning Valley Thunder is honoring the military as part of the first Monday night game in team history, May 5 at the Chevrolet Centre. The Thunder will give one free ticket to any person who presents a valid military ID either at the Chevrolet Centre box office or the Thunder office in Boardman. Representing both the military and the city of Youngstown will be former Air Forcelieutenant and current Ohio state senator John Boccieri.
