YSU’s Katie Rogner is medalist at Horizon golf championships

Youngstown State freshman Katie Rogner shot an ever-par 72 to earn medalist honors at the Horizon League golf championships ,which concluded Sunday at Plum Creek Golf Club.

Rogner finished with a three-round score of 230 to finish two strokes ahead of runner-up Lauren Showers of Butler.

In the team race, the Penguins came in second place, seven shots behind Butler.
