McGlynn becomes fourth area player chosen

Fitch High graduate Mike McGlynn became the fourth area player selected on Sunday when he was chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the NFL draft.

McGlynn, an offensive tackle from Pitt who projects as a guard in the pros, was the 10th pick of the fourth round and the 109th pick overall.

Boardman High's John Greco was the first area player drafted, going with the second pick of the third round to the St. Louis Rams. Warren Harding's Antwaun Molden, a defensive back from Eastern Kentucky, was the 16th selection of the third round, No. 79 overall, by the Houston Texans.
