• SUGARLAND, Texas — Christ United Methodist Church was the setting at 6 p.m. March 8 for the wedding of Lauren Elizabeth Evans and Aaron Dorger, both of 3367 Continental Drive, Missouri City, Texas. The Rev. Morris Matthis officiated.

After a reception at Safari Texas Ranch in Richmond, Texas, the couple left for a honeymoon at Negril in Jamaica. They live in Missouri City.

Parents of the bride are Richard and Andrea Evans, 4308 Adeer Drive, Canfield, and the groom is a son of Lee Dorger, 3407 Rolling Green, Missouri City, and the late Yvonne Dorger.

The bride's sleeveless ivory satin gown featured an asymmetrical waist and cocktail train and was embellished with Swarovski crystals.

Tea and dusty rose gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Lydia Evans, and the bridesmaid, Amanda Chancey. Flower girl was Alexia Di Pari.

David Dorger was best man, and groomsman was Cory Johnson.

Ushers were Rick Toman, Micah Chambers; Kenneth Yonkers, Carson Yonkers and Leland Yonkers. Also participating was Lindsey Scarborough.

The bride graduated from Mount Union College in Alliance with a degree in psychology and is a relationship manager with Terracon in Houston.

The groom, a project manager with Terracon in League City, Texas, earned a degree in environmental science at Auburn University in Alabama.
