Wedding in June to join Mimi Dyke and Chris Herman

X Gary and Sherry Dyke of East Palestine and John and Ruth Herman of Bessemer, Pa., announce the engagement of their children, Mimi Dyke and Chris Herman.

Miss Dyke, also of East Palestine, and Mr. Herman, also of Bessemer, have selected June 28 for their 2:30 p.m. wedding at First Church of Christ in East Palestine. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception at the S.N.P.J. Center in Enon Valley, Pa.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Youngstown State University, where she is working toward a master’s degree in educational administration. She is employed as a fourth-grade teacher in East Palestine School District.

The prospective groom, a graduate of YSU with a bachelor’s degree in physical education, earned a master’s degree in physical education at Slippery Rock University. He is a ninth-grade physical education and health teacher for Moon Area School District in Moon, Pa.
