Charity golf outing is Kiwanis Club event


WARREN — Warren Kiwanis Club will have its 11th annual Children’s Rehabilitation Center Charity Golf Outing June 6 at Tamer Win Golf and Country Club in Cortland. Sign-in will be at 9 a.m. and play begins at 10 with a shotgun start.

The cost for the four-person scramble is $70 per player and includes 18 holes of golf with a riding cart, lunch and beverages on the course, a steak dinner in the pavilion, a hole-in-one prize of a 2008 vehicle donated by Cole Valley Motors, and an opportunity to win a variety of prizes.

Team registrations must be paid and postmarked by May 16, and outing shirts will be available to those meeting the deadline. Applications and fees can be mailed to Warren Kiwanis, P.O. Half the proceeds will be donated to the center, and half will be used by Kiwanis Club for community service projects.
