Parade will be Saturday on Market Street

YOUNGSTOWN — Warriors Inc. is hosting its fourth annual “Unity in the Community Parade” Saturday.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Midlothain Boulevard at Market Street and head north ending at 2733 Market St., the H.O.P.E. Building parking lot in the Uptown, at noon.

Community Ministry Liaison Wendy Robinson said the parade’s objectives are to unify the community and showcase area businesses, civic organizations, government agencies, local youth groups and faith-based groups within the Mahoning Valley.

A variety of floats are expected to take part in the parade, as well as automobiles, walkers and marchers.

No water guns or of any type will be permitted. Robinson said any persons found with one will have it confiscated and may be asked to leave the parade.
