BOARDMAN — Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St., will be the setting from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for the 2008 Premier Couture Collection Upscale Resale fundraiser to be hosted by the Angels of Easter Seals as a benefit for Easter Seals. Featured will be such items as gently worn clothing, toys, small household items, purses and jewelry. Admission is a $2 donation.

Dinner is benefit for crime victim

BOARDMAN — The staff and friends of Mahoning County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities Bev MASCO workshop will host a spaghetti dinner Sunday as a benefit for Joseph Kaluza, manager at the KFC Restaurant on South Avenue, a recent crime victim who is expected to be paralyzed for the rest of his life.

Golf clinic for women scheduled in Girard

GIRARD — The Pink Ribbon Golf Classic Committee of the American Cancer Society will sponsor a golf clinic for women from 6 to 8 p.m. May 6 at the Creekside Golf Dome. Qualified instructors will be on hand to demonstrate all phases of the game.

O.C.C.H.A. plans spring style show

YOUNGSTOWN — The latest in spring fashions will be modeled at a style show to be held by the Organizacion Civica y Cultural Hispana Americana from 2 to 5 p.m. May 4 at the organization’s hall, 3660 Shirley Road.

Featured will be attire from Rondinelli Tuxedo, Boutique IIII and Fashion Bug, Bright Avenue Jewelry, hair by Shiro’s and music by Julian Cicatello. There will also be lunch and a Chinese auction.
