Syrup and toppings dumped in Dairy Queen dispute

YOUNGSTOWN — A Dairy Queen customer, irate because the sundae prepared was not to her liking, pushed a “Server dip” machine to the floor, spilling syrup and toppings, and her companion joined in to push a rack of cards and other items to the floor, police said. The drama took place around 9:45 p.m. Monday at the Belmont Avenue store. A clerk told police that the first woman did not like the sundae and refused to pay for it, asking that she be given a different item. The clerk told the woman that she had to pay for the sundae and was not going to be served anything else. The two young women ran from the store when told police were on their way.
