Jessica Evanson will be June bride of Robert Meyer

X Jessica D. Evanson, 121 Beech Island Drive, Piedmont, S.C., and Robert J. Meyer, 1811 Main St. S.W., Roanoke, Va., are engaged and plan to be married in late June, their parents announce.

She is the daughter Steve and Beckie Evanson, 25 Ridgeway St., Struthers, and he is the son of Mark and Mary Ann Meyer, 7809 Huntington Circle, Boardman.

Invitations will be issued for the wedding at 6 p.m. June 28 and for the reception afterward, both in Berlin Center.

The bride-to-be graduated from Kent State University with a degree in family and consumer science education. She is employed as a teacher for Greenville County Schools in Greenville, S.C., and is working toward a master’s degree in school counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

The prospective groom graduated from Kent State University with a journalism degree. He is employed as a copy editor and page designer at the Roanoke Times.
