Man pleads guilty to raping two minors

YOUNGSTOWN — Curtis O. Daye, 60, of West Marion Avenue, will be sentenced at 8:30 a.m. June 19 after pleading guilty Monday to raping a 10-year-old in 2007 and a child over age 13 in 2000.

The Mahoning County Prosecutor’s office is recommending that Daye get six years in prison.

Daye was indicted in February on two counts of rape that carried possible life sentences and two counts of gross sexual imposition — all related to offenses against the younger child.
