Lauren Sadlak, Jason Mechling will wed in May

X CANFIELD — Lauren Sadlak and Jason Mechling, both of 4300 Westford Place, 3-D, are engaged and plan to be married in May, their parents announce.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Jeff Sadlak and Lauren-Olson Sadlak, 105 Mayflower Drive, Boardman, and Michelle Sadlak of Canfield. The prospective groom is the son of Rusty and Judy Mechling, 7211 Tippecanoe Road.

The couple will exchange wedding vows at 3 p.m. May 25 at the Hyatt on Capitol Square in Columbus, and a reception there will follow. Invitations will be extended for both.

Miss Sadlak graduated from Ohio State University with two bachelor’s degrees, one in psychology and one in criminology. She attends Youngstown State University, working toward a master’s degree in school counseling.

Mr. Mechling, also a graduate of OSU, earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. He is employed in the family business, which specializes in food concessions.
