Date is chosen for Scott-Williams wedding ceremony

X Lauren Ren e Scott, 226 E. Dewey Ave., Youngstown, and Marquis DuShawn Williams, 4461 South Ave., Boardman, are engaged and have planned a late-spring wedding.

The bride-to-be is a daughter of Susan Scott, also of 226 E. Dewey Ave., and the late Frank Scott Sr., and parents of the future groom are Cynthia Williams, 576 W. LaClede Ave., Youngstown, and Markle Williams, also of 4461 South Ave.

The couple will be married in an open ceremony at 4 p.m. June 6 at Price Memorial Church in Youngstown. Their reception will take place by invitation at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

Miss Scott, a gymnastics coach with The Ohio Gymnastics Institute in Austintown, is pursuing a degree in general studies and psychology at Youngstown State University.

Mr. Williams is also attending YSU, where he is pursuing a degree in business administration. He is an assistant manager at Foot Locker Inc., Boardman.
