X STRUTHERS — Ashley Hawkey, 171 Indian Spring Lane, New Cumberland, W.Va., became the bride of Andrew Long, 47943 Tomahawk Drive, Negley, in a March 29 ceremony.

She is the daughter of Joseph and Diane Hawkey, of the Indian Spring Lane address, and he is the son of Robert and Linda Long, 3996 Claridge Drive, Youngstown.

The couple exchanged vows at 6:30 p.m. at The Embassy in Struthers. The Rev. Alex Hilliard officiated, and a reception followed.

After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple live at Lake Tomahawk in Negley.

The bride wore an ivory gown designed with a bodice heavily embellished with crystal and platinum beads and featuring a basque waist and chapel train.

Jennifer Hawkey was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Amy Brewer, Michelle Pavlik and Angela Cook. The honor attendant wore a lilac gown, and bridesmaids wore sky-blue gowns. Jaiden Goodwin was the flower girl.

Shawn Brewer and Kevin Pavlik performed the best-man duties. Groomsmen were Joseph Hawkey Jr., Shawn Cook and Michael Anderson. Ring bearer was Hunter Brooks.

The bride is program director for ATA Black Belt Academy in Calcutta, where the groom is the owner and an instructor. He also is employed as a dealer at Mountaineer Gaming Resort and Casino in Chester, W.Va.
