YOUNGSTOWN — Ladies of Charity has planned its annual “Tea For Green” on May 4 at the Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road. A variety of teas and finger foods will be provided for guests between 12:30 and 4 p.m.

In keeping with the theme for the day, “Hats on for Charity,” guests are encouraged to wear hats. Prizes will awarded for the most original, most comical and most elegant.

There will be no admission charged for the event, but all donations accepted at the door will be distributed to area charities supported by the organization.

Among the recipients will be St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall, Rescue Mission, Potter’s Wheel, Beatitude House, Mill Creek Children’s Center, Birthright, New Life Maternity Home and Second Harvest Food Bank.

Jeanne Dambrogio and Jacqueline Price are co-chairwomen for the event.
