New Castle’s Taggart Stadium will get 2nd set of bleachers

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — The city school board has decided to build a second set of bleachers at Taggart Stadium. At a recent meeting the board agreed to pay Dave York Sports of Louisville, Ky. close to $208,000 to build the 700-seat grandstand, which is to serve as the student seating section of the stadium. The work is to be completed by the start of the 2008 football season, school officials said.
