Junior Achievement plans bowling event

BOARDMAN — On May 3, Junior Achievement will sponsor an annual Bowl-A-Thon from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road, as a fundraiser.

Companies interested in participating may form five-person teams, with each bowler being responsible for collecting a minimum of $40 in pledges. Those taking part do not need to be from the same company, nor do they have to be good bowlers.

Incentive prizes will be awarded individuals raising $50, $100 and $200. The JA goal is to raise more then $45,000.

Anyone interested in participating should contact Patti Edwards at (330) 539-5268 or at jamvpatti@onecom.com.
