Former President Clinton comes to Hermitage on Saturday
HERMITAGE, Pa. — Former President Clinton returns to the Shenango Valley on Saturday with a stop in Hermitage.
Clinton will speak at 3:30 p.m. at Hickory High School, 640 N. Hermitage Road on behalf of his wife, U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., who is seeking her party’s presidential nomination.
The former president spoke Wednesday to a crowd of more than 1,000 at New Castle Junior/Senior High School.
The crucial Pennsylvania Democratic primary is Tuesday.
Polls show Clinton with a lead among Pennsylvania Democrats over U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., who also is seeking his party’s presidential nomination.
Neither Hillary Clinton nor Obama, who leads in delegates nationally, have visited the Shenango Valley.
