Second man in Vienna robbery arrested in N.M.

VIENNA — Police have arrested a Kinsman man believed to have been involved in a robbery of the Circle K store on state Route 193 earlier this week.

Joseph Wade, 29, of state Route 88, Kinsman, was arrested today in Albuquerque, N.M. by members of the U.S. Marshals office. He is in the Bernallilo County Jail in New Mexico awaiting extradition.

Dean Michael, Task Force Coordinator for the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, said Vienna police received word that Wade had boarded a bus in Youngstown headed for Henderson, Nev. Officers were stationed at each stop the bus was scheduled to make.

Police say Wade held up the convenience store with James Clemens, 29, of Pittsburgh. Clemens was apprehended a short time later, but Wade fled in the car used in the robbery.

Michael said the car was found at the Greyhound Bus Station in Youngstown.
