Men Who Cook fundraiser Friday

YOUNGSTOWN — “All Fired Up” is the theme for the Men Who Cook fundraiser to be sponsored by Catholic Charities Regional Agency from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel.

The cost is $35 per person.

Patrons will have the opportunity to sample delectable specialties created by a number of amateur chefs, who will be competing for a variety of awards, and there also will be a Chinese auction.

Raffle tickets will also be sold for $10 each for a number of prizes, such as a package that includes a Washington overnight stay and lunch, or for a gourmet dinner to be prepared for six.

Booster Club dance to be in Girard

GIRARD — The Penn-Ohio Polka Pals Booster Club will sponsor its 27th annual spring dance from 3 to 7 p.m. May 4 at Kuzman’s Lounge, 1025 S. State St.

Music will be provided by the Del Sinchak Band. There will be more than 50 door prizes.

The donation is $7 per person.
