Trumbull dog kennel will be open on Saturdays

HOWLAND – The Trumbull County Dog Kennel, 7501 Anderson Ave., will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays beginning this week.

“We want the kennel to be more accessible and family friendly,” said county commissioner Daniel Polivka, adding that the Saturday hours will allow working adults and school-age children the time to visit the facility to adopt a pet.

Applications to become a kennel volunteer are available at the kennel.
