The Taste of the Faiths participants

The Taste of the Faiths event involved 14 participants from the Mahoning Valley. Here’s who participated and their food contribution:

First Presbyterian Church: Chicken pot pie.

First Unitarian Church: Broccoli salad and hamburger stroganoff.

Greenford Lutheran Church: Lasagna and green bean casserole.

Heritage Presbyterian Church: Vegetables and dip, salsa and chips and vegetable pizza.

Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church: Mititei (meat rolls) and mamaliga (corn meal with cheese).

Islamic Society of Greater Youngstown: Kibbe (meat pies), grape leaves and baklava.

Martin Luther Lutheran Church: Pies.

New Bethel Baptist Church: Sweet potato pie and peach cobbler.

St. Anthony Catholic Church: Pizza appetizers.

St. Charles Borromeo Church: Stromboli and cookies.

St. Luke Catholic Church: Kolachi.

St. James Episcopal Church: Chili and corn bread.

Third Baptist Church Sunday school: Sweet potato pie and gelatin molds.

Woodworth Church of the Brethren: Chicken casserole and apple butter fritters.
