Jury convicts 2 teens of murder in death of fetus

CINCINNATI (AP) — Two teens were convicted of murder Monday in the death of a fetus by kicking, beating and stomping on its mother, who was the girlfriend and cousin of one of the boys.

The Hamilton County Common Pleas jury also found Alfonso Price, 16, and Jebrell Wright, 17, guilty of kidnapping and felonious assault for the July 11 beating in an apartment.

During closing arguments earlier Monday, Prosecutor Rick Gibson said the boys had planned to beat 18-year-old Kerria Anderson until she miscarried the seven-month-old fetus.
