Cocco-Welsch engagement is announced

X Michael and Laurie Cocco of Batavia, N.Y., and Brian M. and Barbara C. Welsch of Boardman announce the engagement of their children, Jacqueline Cocco of Amherst, N.Y., and Brian M. Welsch of Buffalo, N.Y.

The open wedding ceremony is set for 2 p.m. Aug. 30 at St. Joseph Cathedral in Buffalo. A reception by invitation will follow at Harry’s Harbor Place Grille, also in Buffalo.

The bride-elect graduated from St. Bonaventure University in Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and earned a master’s \ in accountancy at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. She is employed as a certified public accountant for Ernst & Young, LLP, in Buffalo.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and also earned a master’s degree in accountancy at Notre Dame. He is a certified public accountant for KPMG, LLP, in Buffalo.
