Mang, Bertolini lead Mercyhurst baseball team to win

Senior pitcher John Mang delivered a lights-out performance and the offense exploded for eight runs on 11 hits as the Mercyhurst baseball team closed the four-game Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series at Hillsdale with an 8-1 win Monday.

Mang (2-5), a Fitch High graduate, went six innings and allowed just one hit and no earned runs.

Senior Dan Bertolini (Poland) went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored, giving him six hits in the four-game series.
