Howland library to celebrate 10th anniversary

HOWLAND – The Howland branch of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Wednesday at the branch.

Friends of the Howland Library is co-sponsoring a customer appreciation day with a drawing for a gift basket or gift certificate from 9 to 11 a.m. when muffins will be served, or 5 to 7 p.m. with punch and cookies.

The branch was originally located in the Howland Plaza and moved to its East Market Street location in April 1998. Special features include an amphitheater-style story garden for children, fireplace and lounge area, reading courtyard for adults and an area with books and magazines for teens.
