Half a dozen local celebrities are competing in “Dance the Night Away — Local Stars
Half a dozen local celebrities are competing in “Dance the Night Away — Local Stars Dancing for Alzheimer’s” on Friday.
The event, which benefits the Greater East Ohio Area Chapter Alzheimer’s Association, will be at Antone’s Banquet Center in Boardman.
The gala begins at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour and music by Savoy, followed by a buffet style dinner. Dancing continues until 10:30 p.m.
Pam Traino from Home Instead Senior Care will be honored. She is a member of the group’s community council and helps with support groups.
A raffle and silent and live auctions will also be held.
Tickets are $75 per person, $100 per grande patron. Sponsorship, hosting and underwriting opportunities are available.

UPeggy Sinkovich (WYTV) is dancing with Columbus professional Mark Wagner of Party On & Salsa Extreme.
URoxanne Sebest (WKBN) is working with Jim Ferris of Cavana Ballroom.
