Bairds mark 50th with family brunch

X POLAND — Ira and Barbara Baird, 695 E. Western Reserve Road, No. 2503, celebrated 50 years of marriage at a brunch April 12 at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.

The festivities were hosted by the couple’s children: Todd Baird of Youngstown, Amy (Terry) Hanna of Orlando, Fla., and Jodi (Terry) Roof of Canfield.

Rounding out the family are the couple’s six grandchildren.

The former Barbara Luplow married Mr. Baird on April 12, 1958, at Canfield Christian Church.

Mrs. Baird is a self-employed transporter, and Mr. Baird retired as a self-employed contractor, Baird Construction. He served with the U.S. Army’s 275th Combat Engineers.

The Bairds are members of Calvary Assembly of God.
