Autism society plans open forum for parents

YOUNGSTOWN — Tri-County Autism Society has scheduled an open forum for parents of autistic children for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the new social hall at St. Christine Church on Schenley Ave. The program will include a period of one-on-one questions and answers.

Held in conjunction with Autism Awareness Month, the informative program will feature Dr. Max Wiznitzer of Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, who is board certified in pediatrics, psychiatry and neurology, and has attained special qualification in child neurology. A professional speaker on autism, he is also a prolific author.
