Dahlia Society plans its annual tuber sale

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society will hold its annual dahlia tuber sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.

Local society members offer a wide variety of quality tubers, from the small pompoms to the dinner-plate size.

The public is also invited to attend the 2 p.m. meeting to take place during the sale. The virus and other pests that invade your garden will be discussed. Dahlia society members will answer questions about preparing your garden for the easy-to-grow dahlias.
