X AKRON — Moriah Lynn Timko and Ronald Curtiss Conner Jr. were united in marriage March 15 during a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Norm Douglas at St. Bernard Church.

Parents of the bride are Leonard Timko of Dayton and Phyllis Timko of Blair, Neb. The groom is a son of Ronald Conner Sr. and Rhonda Ramsdell, both of Orrville.

The bride wore a strapless gown of ivory Italian satin adorned with platinum embroidery and Swarovski crystals and featuring a pleated Tiffany train.

Serving as the bride’s honor attendant was Serena Dann of Portland, Ore., and the bridesmaid was Elizabeth Pages of Beavercreek.

Matthew Carter of Orrville performed the duties of best man, and guests were ushered by Michael Timko of Oakwood.

A reception was held afterward at Greystone Hall.

Mrs. Conner received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron and will graduate in May from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown with a medical degree. After graduation, she will begin her residency in internal medicine with Summa Health System.

Mr. Conner, a resident physician in internal medicine with Summa Health System, also graduated from University of Akron and received his medical degree from NEOUCOM.

After a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple returned to their home in Akron.
