Firefighter injured on Parkwood Avenue

YOUNGSTOWN — A firefighter injured his shoulder at the scene of a fire deliberately set in the kitchen-sun porch area at 623 Parkwood Ave. around 2 a.m. today. The fire spread to the second floor of the vacant house. Damage was set at $11,000, a total loss. The firefighter was taken to a hospital for treatment.
