Snell, Nady lead Pirates over Florida

MIAMI — Ian Snell struck out 10 in six innings and Xavier Nady homered to help the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Florida Marlins 9-2 Sunday. Nate McLouth had three hits and scored three runs for Pittsburgh, which finished with 14 hits.
