Forum Health At Home offers hot, nutritious meals at noon weekdays at nine locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, April 9: Chicken fingers with barbecue sauce, sliced zucchini and cauliflower, rye bread with margarine, orange and milk.

Thursday, April 10: Barbecue beef cubes on a bun, rice pilaf, mixed vegetables, sweetened or unsweetened diced pears and milk.

Friday, April 11: Vegetable lasagna, sliced carrots, hot spiced fruit salad, wheat bread with margarine, grape juice and milk.

Saturday, April 12: Cold cuts on a bun with mustard and ketchup, unsweetened mixed fruit, celery with ranch dressing and apple juice.

Monday, April 14: Sliced turkey with gravy and bread stuffing, mashed yams, peas, dinner roll with margarine, sliced pears and milk.

Tuesday, April 15: Veal patty with gravy, corn, spinach with vinegar, garlic bread, diced peaches and milk.

Trumbull county

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.
